Senior Software Engineer – Core Platform

About the role

Fastmarkets is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Core squad, the team that builds the foundational services for its global digital platform. You will work in an Agile environment alongside engineers, analysts and product managers to deliver new features that power authentication, authorisation, user management and customer‑facing delivery channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain core platform components such as authentication, authorisation, user entitlements and the Admin UI.
• Implement enhancements for delivery services including the Fastmarkets Dashboard, Excel Add‑in and email alert system.
• Collaborate with the Digital Product team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Follow sound software engineering principles, including design patterns and code quality standards.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and continuous integration processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior‑level software engineer working on large‑scale, multi‑tenant platforms.
• Strong understanding of Agile development practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross‑functional team.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
