Software Engineer – AI Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Resaro’s AI assurance platform. You will work with AI engineers and scientists to turn cutting‑edge evaluation methodologies into production‑grade software that supports mission‑critical AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Own the full lifecycle of platform components, from design through deployment, monitoring and maintenance.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes‑based service orchestration and related infrastructure‑as‑code with Terraform.
• Develop responsive, data‑rich user interfaces with React, TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and production Kubernetes environments.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, secrets management and compliance requirements (SOC 2, defence procurement).
• Collaborate with product and AI teams to translate complex evaluation needs into robust technical solutions.
• Write production‑quality code with strong test coverage and mentor peers through code reviews.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience delivering production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building REST APIs (FastAPI or similar).
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration in multi‑service architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and managed services.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving startup environment and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
