Stocks Accountant

About the role

Ekobulgaria is seeking a Stocks Accountant to join its finance team in Sofia. The role involves managing stock‑related accounting tasks and supporting month‑end close processes within a multinational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Book invoices and credit notes for stock deliveries and transportation costs.
• Reconcile and confirm vendor balances.
• Reconcile and control balances of specific general‑ledger accounts.
• Archive accounting documents.
• Support month‑end close activities.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the Accounting Supervisor.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency.
• Maintain confidentiality of company, client and vendor information.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and collaborate within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical abilities.
