PCB Design Hardware Engineer

About the role

Gilat Satellite Networks is seeking a talented Hardware Engineer to join its R&D team in Sofia, Bulgaria. You will play a key role in designing, developing, testing, and validating complex electronic hardware for next‑generation satellite communication products.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop digital and analog circuits for satellite communication equipment.
• Create, review, and debug multilayer PCBs using industry‑standard CAD tools.
• Select components, run circuit simulations, and assess performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Develop and execute hardware validation, verification, and qualification test plans.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues throughout development, integration, and production phases.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
• Deep experience in hardware design and development with strong analog and digital circuit knowledge.
• Hands‑on engineering mindset, excellent attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Good spoken and written English.
