Project Manager

About the role

Huawei Europe is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Delivery & Service team in Sofia. You will own engineering delivery projects from inception through closure, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle – preparation, establishment, implementation, and closure.
• Deliver projects with low cost and high quality, adhering to contract terms and budgets.
• Control project plans, progress, and budgets to meet delivery and profit objectives.
• Conduct regular project meetings, monitor operations, and resolve major issues.
• Mitigate risks and escalate critical issues to sponsors and management.
• Lead quality management on site and ensure standards are applied.
• Maintain smooth communication with customers and internal teams, responding quickly to urgent issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of ICT industry experience, with at least 3 years in project management.
• Experience delivering projects for operators; PMP certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑vendor integration and multicultural teams.
• Strong leadership, customer‑centric mindset, and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent English; university degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Business.
