Structural Engineer – Luxury Hospitality Projects

About the role

Utopia is seeking experienced Structural Design Engineers to lead the structural development of boutique hospitality villas and hotels worldwide. You will guide projects from concept through construction detailing, ensuring safety, seismic performance, and alignment with the architectural vision.

Key responsibilities

• Design structural systems for luxury villas and boutique hotels, complying with local codes, seismic regulations, and international standards.
• Integrate structural solutions with architecture, interiors, and MEP through close cross‑disciplinary coordination.
• Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and seismic design to optimise safety and performance.
• Produce detailed structural drawings, technical documentation, and construction specifications using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Review and approve deliverables from third‑party consultants, geotechnical engineers, and surveyors.
• Track emerging structural technologies and seismic design trends relevant to high‑end hospitality construction.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialisation in Structural Engineering.
• 6–10 years of structural design experience at a design consultancy or general contractor.
• Proven expertise in seismic design and earthquake‑resistant structures.
• Experience on low‑rise residential and hospitality projects such as private homes, villas, hotels, and resorts.
• Professional‑level English.
