AI Architect – Generative AI Solutions Lead

About the role

As an AI Architect you will design and guide production‑ready Generative AI solutions for clients, from discovery through implementation. You will combine hands‑on architecture, technical leadership and close client collaboration to ensure secure, scalable and cost‑effective AI services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architecture and delivery of Generative AI solutions, selecting appropriate tools, frameworks and platforms.
• Translate business requirements into robust application, service and target‑state architectures, including RAG, agent orchestration and prompt patterns.
• Own scalability, performance, latency, observability, security and cost optimisation of AI solutions.
• Define evaluation strategies, AI security, privacy and governance controls, and manage solution economics.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in agile product delivery and production‑scale software solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering at least one Generative AI system to production.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Generative AI platforms: Azure OpenAI Service, Semantic Kernel, LangChain, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI.
• Large language models (GPT‑4, Gemini, Llama) and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Cloud‑native architecture on Microsoft Azure (Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI services).
• Containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira.
• Vector search and retrieval engineering, hybrid search, reranking.
• AI evaluation and observability tools: LangSmith, Langfuse, Azure Monitor.
