AI Transformation & Automation Intern

About the role

HP Bulgaria's Stellar Program offers an AI Transformation & Automation Intern position supporting the Managed Services Delivery organization. The intern helps identify, design and implement opportunities to simplify operations through artificial intelligence, intelligent automation and digital transformation, working with business leaders and subject matter experts across Customer Delivery Management, Transition Management, Organizational Design and Business Management Systems / Chief of Staff functions. The program includes an onboarding phase, a first project over six months (with possible extension to a second level), and an expected start date in February 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Learn Managed Services Delivery processes and identify improvement opportunities through AI and automation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and analyse operational challenges.
• Design and build AI-driven and low-code solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Power Apps and Power BI.
• Build, test and refine prototypes, workflows, dashboards and automation solutions.
• Support implementation by collecting user feedback, documenting processes and improving usability.
• Communicate the business impact of AI and automation initiatives and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Deliverables include testing prototypes, documenting findings and recommendations, sharing results and lessons learned, and giving regular progress updates with a final project presentation.

Required profile

• Regular university student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Demonstrated interest in AI, automation, digital transformation or process improvement; no prior full-time professional experience required.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Curious, proactive, adaptable and open to feedback.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of AI, automation, data analytics or software development tools (e.g. Microsoft Power Platform, Python, SQL, Power BI).
• Experience on academic, personal or extracurricular technology, AI or automation projects.
• Advanced use of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook).
• Interest in learning Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform tools.
