Assistant Department Manager – Cash Administration

About the role

Join Peek & Cloppenburg’s dynamic retail team in Sofia as an Assistant Department Manager focused on cash administration. You will support the Department Manager in daily operations, ensuring accurate cash handling and excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Department Manager in leading the team and driving performance.
• Oversee cash accounting tasks, process daily proceeds, and assist with checkout operations.
• Manage administrative onboarding, including access card distribution and security training coordination.
• Provide administrative support such as maintaining personnel records and preparing reports.
• Handle and resolve customer complaints to maintain a positive shopping experience.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of management experience in retail, preferably with store administration or financial duties.
• Organised and analytical, comfortable working with numbers.
• Strong commitment to delivering great service and positive customer experiences.
• Proactive, reliable and ready to take initiative.
• Confident English communication; German is a plus but not required.
