Client Delivery Manager - Financial Crime Compliance

About the role

AML RightSource is looking for a Manager within its Financial Crime Compliance Delivery Team in Sofia, Bulgaria. You will lead a team of analysts, providing coaching and oversight so that all projects meet organizational and client objectives. The position is fully onsite in the Sofia office.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of 25+ analysts and identify top talent, coaching and developing them into Senior Analyst roles
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of client engagements, ensuring KPIs are met with quality and within project timelines
• Identify risks and manage downward and upward communication
• Interact regularly with major clients to strengthen partnerships, report results and identify new service opportunities
• Monitor the team's production and results, seek efficiency improvements and carry out quality control reviews
• Provide production and service reporting to senior leadership and clients
• Contribute to strategic initiatives within the Managed Services practice with senior leaders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree with 4-5 years or more of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) or KYC management experience
• German language proficiency at C1 level
• Experience in transaction monitoring and in KYC processing within corporate or investment banking environments
• Proven people management skills and decision-making capability
• Ability to lead projects, set timelines, coordinate project teams and implement action items

Preferred qualifications

• CAMS professional certification
• Experience in a consulting or managed service environment
• Master's degree
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strong collaboration and communication skills, and ability to influence others
