Compliance Data Analyst, Bulgaria

About the role

We are seeking a Compliance Data Analyst with strong SQL expertise and Python automation skills to support Crypto.com’s Global Regulatory Reporting team. The role involves understanding Crypto.com’s products and data flows to ensure accurate regulatory and tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Write and optimise SQL queries to extract data for CARF/DAC8 tax reporting and validate results for accuracy.
• Prepare and deliver data for global regulatory reporting obligations such as EMI and MiFID.
• Track tasks, comment and update status in Jira, using Agile or SCRUM boards.
• Collaborate with Global Compliance stakeholders to meet regulator requirements (UK FCA, CBI, MFSA) and internal needs.
• Document processes and workflows, and propose improvements to data preparation and sharing.

Required profile

• Strong logical reasoning and strategic problem‑solving abilities.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proficient English communication in a multicultural, global environment.
• Experience collaborating across time zones and occasional out‑of‑hours work.

Required skills

• SQL (efficient queries on large datasets).
• Python (or similar language) for data processing and automation.
• Jira and Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
• API‑based integrations.
• Large dataset analysis, data reconciliation and validation.
