Content Operations Specialist – Spanish Language

About the role

We are seeking a Content Operations Specialist with strong Spanish language skills to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of publisher content to EMIS products. The role works closely with Content Licensing, Technology and Customer Service teams to manage and integrate content while supporting EMIS customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor content delivery to guarantee sources are available on EMIS products within expected timelines and meet completeness criteria.
• Collaborate with the technology department to resolve technical issues that affect content loading.
• Ensure accurate display of content and address data‑formatting or delivery problems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with content providers.
• Curate daily news for the Trending Topics sections in English and the local language.
• Prepare weekly industry alerts for EMIS industry pages in both English and the local language.
• Assist Customer Service by handling content‑related inquiries from internal and external customers.
• Control and correct content classification according to the proprietary taxonomy and work with the Content Enrichment team to improve tagging accuracy and machine‑learning models.
• Coordinate actions and priorities with EMIS regional/global product and development teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business or Journalism.
• Excellent command of English and very good command of Spanish (Portuguese is a plus).
• Good understanding of economic concepts.
• Excellent knowledge of the Internet, Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
