Director Finance Shared Services

About the role

The Director Finance Shared Services leads the day‑to‑day operations of Hiab Business Center’s finance organisation in Sofia. The role is responsible for delivering high‑quality, efficient finance services globally while driving transformation, standardisation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance of Record‑to‑Report, Invoice‑to‑Pay, Invoice‑to‑Cash and Master Data streams, ensuring SLA compliance and KPI achievement.
• Lead the bi‑weekly Finance Leadership Team meetings and manage KPI scorecards across Sofia and Poland locations.
• Drive transformation initiatives, remove operational roadblocks and ensure milestones for efficiency, cost‑optimisation and quality are met.
• Plan talent development, resource allocation and organisational structure for the broader HBC finance team.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing senior leaders in international shared‑services or finance‑operations organisations.
• Proven track record in process transformation, continuous improvement and delivering business cases.
• Fluent English with strong cross‑cultural communication skills.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of core finance processes: Record‑to‑Report (RTR), Invoice‑to‑Pay (ITP), Invoice‑to‑Cash (ITC) and Master Data management.
• Strong budget, cost and financial target management capabilities.
