Investigator Support Assistant (German Speaker) – Remote

About the role

Labcorp, a global leader in laboratory services, is looking for a remote Investigator Support Assistant to join its team in Bulgaria. The position is open to German speakers and involves supporting investigator sites, sponsors and affiliates with laboratory results, flags and test cancellations, and keeping project information up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Notify investigator sites, sponsors and affiliates of laboratory results, sponsor-determined flags and test cancellations as defined in the Statement of Work.
• Monitor, track and resolve accession holds, and inform the Supervisor and Project Manager of any delays.
• Update the database with the right information and tell personnel about additional testing needs.
• Support sites and sponsors with project-related questions by phone and email.
• Follow management communications, meetings and Standard Operating Procedures, and help implement global processes.
• Track and report metrics within agreed timelines, document service failures and escalate unresolved ones to management.
• Act as a liaison between internal and external clients, communicate site needs when new policies are discussed, and ensure patient safety is prioritised.

Required profile

• High school degree; preferred: college or university degree.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience.
• Fluent English and German.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday 11 AM to 8 PM EET or other hours, and to work a Saturday shift once every two months.
