Junior Financial & Sustainability Auditor

About the role

Join PwC’s Financial and Sustainability Assurance team as a Junior Auditor, supporting leading European companies in meeting both financial and sustainability reporting standards. This position offers exposure to a variety of sectors, including technology, renewable energy, healthcare, and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial and sustainability audits, ensuring compliance with relevant reporting standards.
• Develop expertise in sustainability frameworks, map dependencies, identify bottlenecks, and escalate issues to clients.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate sustainability assurance into financial audits and provide strategic recommendations.
• Assist non‑audit clients in designing templates, policies, and controls for sustainability reporting.
• Analyse sustainability metrics such as carbon emissions, climate risks, and safety incidents, delivering actionable insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Proficiency in English and Bulgarian; additional foreign language is a plus.
• Experience in financial auditing or progress toward ACCA qualification is advantageous.
• Strong project‑management and analytical abilities.
• Interest and affinity for sustainability and ESG topics.
