Junior Infrastructure Engineer – 24/7 Shift Support

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Junior Infrastructure Engineer to join its Infrastructure Support Team in Sofia. The role works on a 24/7 shift schedule, providing monitoring and incident response for customer environments across servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor customer infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, load balancers, databases) and react to critical alerts.
• Troubleshoot technical issues to restore service availability quickly.
• Participate in migrations, maintenance activities, and disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Communicate with customers via the ticketing system regarding incidents, requests, and scheduled maintenance.
• Escalate complex problems to senior colleagues in Bulgaria and Belgium and provide shift hand‑over reports.
• Ensure production systems meet SLA targets and drive incident resolution.

Required profile

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of virtualization, cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and SQL database concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is advantageous but not mandatory.
