Junior Tax Consultant

About the role

PwC is looking for a Junior Tax Consultant to join its Tax Services team in Sofia. You will support senior colleagues in delivering high‑quality VAT and corporate tax advice to Bulgarian and multinational clients, while gaining hands‑on experience in a leading professional services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Research and analyse Bulgarian tax legislation and regulatory practices.
• Prepare client deliverables such as emails, opinions, reports and tax submissions.
• Assist in drafting tax returns and other statutory filings.
• Participate in client meetings, virtual presentations and project discussions.
• Collaborate with project teams and report directly to senior consultants and managers.

Required profile

• Graduate or final‑year student in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or a related field.
• Fluent in English and Bulgarian, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
