Manufacturing Production Manager

About the role

As a Manufacturing Production Manager you will lead the end‑to‑end production process for energy products, ensuring efficiency, quality and cost‑effectiveness. You will manage a team of supervisors and operators while driving continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire production flow from raw material to finished goods, meeting schedules and quality standards.
• Lead, motivate and develop production supervisors and operators, fostering safety and high performance.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimise processes.
• Monitor KPIs such as output, quality and cost, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and Maintenance to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and company regulations.
• Manage the production budget, control costs and allocate resources efficiently.
• Identify and introduce new technologies and manufacturing processes to boost productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Production); Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5‑7 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in energy or heavy industry.
• Proven track record of leading and developing production teams.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and continuous improvement tools.
• Excellent understanding of production planning, scheduling and inventory control.
• Fluent in English; Bulgarian knowledge is an advantage.
