Medical Information Specialist (German, English + another language)

About the role

iQVIA's Safety Operations team designs, builds and runs end-to-end safety solutions for major pharmaceutical companies and their post-market products. This Medical Information Specialist role sits at the heart of patient safety, with daily direct contact with healthcare professionals and patients. It covers medical information call centre services and processes safety and product quality information for products in respiratory, infectious diseases, immunology and inflammation, HIV and oncology.

Key responsibilities

• Provide phone support to healthcare professionals and patients, receiving and tracking medical inquiries, adverse events, product quality complaints and other calls as required.
• Receive and document incoming telephone calls, faxes or emails from various sources, including investigative sites, during regular weekday business hours.
• Establish and maintain effective team communication, giving regular feedback to local management on project metrics, out-of-scope issues and successes.
• Build a positive, collaborative team environment with other Lifecycle safety team members.
• Take part in training across Lifecycle safety service offerings and in working groups on new initiatives and process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a life science.
• Native-level German (C2) and excellent written and verbal English, plus one additional language at minimum C1.
• Willingness and aptitude to learn new skills across Lifecycle Safety service lines.
