Payroll Analyst I

About the role

Under direct supervision, the Payroll Analyst I is an entry‑level position that assists in processing and managing payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The role works closely with the Payroll Manager and other Payroll and HR team members to support various payroll‑related functions. The position offers comprehensive training and the opportunity to develop expertise in payroll processes and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process payroll for team members.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Work closely with HR and finance teams to gather and verify payroll data.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and issues in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional support to staff regarding payroll inquiries.
• Maintain and update payroll records and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and summaries.
• Participate in payroll audits and ensure data integrity.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• No prior experience required; comprehensive training will be provided.
