Procurement Buyer – Shared Service Center for Global Procurement

About the role

Kronospan is hiring a Procurement Buyer for its Shared Service Center for Global Procurement, based in Burgas. The role covers sourcing raw materials, managing supplier relationships and contracts, and keeping the supply of materials to the Kronospan plants running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing raw materials within the assigned product groups
• Establishing and maintaining effective supplier relationships
• Negotiating prices, terms and supplier agreements, and managing contracts
• Evaluating cost analysis from suppliers and monitoring material stocks to ensure timely supply
• Coordinating planning and forecasting for the plants and communicating it to suppliers
• Processing internal demands, registering purchase orders in the company's ERP system and tracking order acknowledgements
• Preparing shortage and backlog reports, flagging potential interruptions and proposing ways to handle them
• Monitoring market trends and sharing relevant updates with internal stakeholders

Required profile

• University degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or a related technical field
• At least 2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, engineering or a related function
• Previous experience in an international environment is an advantage
• Willingness to travel abroad
