Purchasing Specialist – Shared Service Center for Global Procurement

About the role

Kronospan is hiring a Purchasing Specialist for its Shared Service Center for Global Procurement in Burgas. The role works with global Product Planning teams and leads buyers to identify purchasing needs, define order quantities and align on consumption and pricing.

Key responsibilities

• Process internal purchase demands and create purchase orders in the company ERP system
• Send approved orders to suppliers, prioritise them and ensure proper documentation and timely confirmation
• Track order acknowledgements, prepare shortage and backlog reports and warn stakeholders about possible supply interruptions
• Monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment and continuous supply
• Ensure compliance with supplier contracts and report non-conformances
• Coordinate planning and forecasting for Kronospan plants and communicate with suppliers
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports and analyses supporting purchasing decisions

Required profile

• University degree (Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field preferred)
• Previous experience in supply chain, purchasing or logistics is a strong advantage
• Fluent English; German is an advantage
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work with international teams

• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to improve processes
