Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Department and support the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations within a dynamic international business environment. The role will be based in Bulgaria and will work closely with the Chief Accountant and external auditors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting records, revenues and expenses with a focus on tax compliance.
• Monitor account balances and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns.
• Account for fixed assets and leases in accordance with IFRS 16.
• Participate in the preparation of tax declarations and annual financial statements.
• Communicate with tax authorities and auditors, including preparation for tax audits.
• Support the Chief Accountant to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual closings.

Required profile

Required skills

• SAP (experience preferred).
• Microsoft Excel.
