Senior Finance Project Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

Flix is looking for a Senior Finance Project Manager to lead complex finance‑ and tax‑focused transformation projects. You will work across Finance, Tech, Legal and external partners to improve compliance, streamline invoicing and embed AI‑driven automation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage finance‑ and tax‑driven cross‑functional projects and lead tech transformation initiatives.
• Identify, pilot and scale AI and automation use cases for finance and tax processes.
• Track legislative and regulatory developments and translate mandates into project triggers.
• Analyse end‑to‑end tax and invoicing processes, develop recommendations and strengthen controls.
• Convert regulatory requirements into executable implementation plans and drive delivery with Finance, Tech, Legal and vendors.
• Manage timelines, risks and stakeholder communication, ensuring on‑time delivery and clear escalation paths.
• Prepare structured updates for senior leadership and act as the link between local entities and central teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Tax, Law, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance, tax, consulting or related areas with exposure to compliance or regulatory projects.
• Proven project‑management experience in complex, cross‑functional environments.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to support assumptions.
• Fluency in English; German or another European language is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting.
