Senior QA Engineer – AxiomSL Regulatory Reporting

About the role

Exadel is seeking a senior QA Engineer to support AxiomSL regulatory reporting solutions for a leading American financial services corporation. The role focuses on testing ControllerView configurations, data flows, and regulatory report outputs to ensure compliance and data quality.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements and ControllerView configurations into test scenarios and cases.
• Design, execute and validate functional, regression, integration and end‑to‑end tests for AxiomSL solutions.
• Perform data reconciliation, data‑mapping validation and data‑quality checks from source to target.
• Verify regulatory report outputs (XML, XBRL, CSV) and exception‑management workflows.
• Support user acceptance testing and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with analysts, configurators and developers to investigate and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Senior‑level software quality assurance experience with AxiomSL ControllerView.
• Strong analytical, debugging and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• AxiomSL ControllerView (data models, metadata, aggregation rules, data mapping, workflow configurations).
• Advanced SQL and complex validation queries.
• ETL testing and data‑reconciliation techniques.
• Test‑management and defect‑tracking tools such as Jira, Xray or ALM.
