Senior Shiny Developer – Pharma Analytics

About the role

This senior position combines R/Shiny development with technical leadership on a high‑impact pharmaceutical analytics programme. You will work closely with users, data engineers and client stakeholders to turn feedback into robust analytical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of production‑grade Shiny analytics applications.
• Design, develop, test and maintain reusable R packages and code.
• Collaborate directly with users and client stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and support architecture decisions.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to agile delivery practices.

Required profile

• Extensive commercial experience with R and Shiny in a production environment.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience working with APIs and data models.
• Background in pharma, life sciences, clinical programming or statistical programming.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
