Service Manager

About the role

Huawei is seeking a Service Manager to lead onsite commissioning and support activities for utility photovoltaic (PV) and energy storage projects in Sofia, Bulgaria. The role involves direct interaction with clients, partners, and installers to ensure successful deployment and operation of critical electrical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Onsite commissioning of utility PV projects, including inverter and transformer installation.
• Onsite commissioning of storage projects, covering battery containers and Power Conversion Systems (PCS).
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions (inverter, transformer, battery, etc.) and produce analysis reports.
• Deliver service training to clients, partners, and installers.
• Support account managers and solution managers with technical activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electric Technology, Information Technologies, or Automatic Control Engineering.
• Professional service experience in photovoltaics or energy storage industry; transformer commissioning experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel and perform onsite service.
• Proficiency with electrical tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Strong communication skills and good command of English.
