Transfer Pricing Expert – Tax Advisory

About the role

PwC Bulgaria is seeking a Transfer Pricing Expert to join its tax practice in Sofia. You will work with a diverse portfolio of local and multinational clients, helping them design compliant and tax‑efficient intercompany pricing structures that support their business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review transfer pricing analyses and reports independently.
• Delegate tasks to junior team members and supervise their work.
• Participate in client meetings and manage ongoing communication.
• Apply commercial and tax expertise to develop pricing solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Bulgarian and EU transfer pricing legislation and guidelines.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Law or a related field.
• Previous experience in transfer pricing (candidates without experience may be considered for a junior position).
• Strong knowledge of Bulgarian and EU transfer pricing rules.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and communication skills.
• Commitment to a long‑term career in tax consulting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using financial and market databases.
• Fluent English; German is a strong advantage.
