Sales Specialist (Ground & Rail)

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Specialist focused on Ground and Rail logistics to expand our customer base and deepen existing relationships. The role combines market analysis, proactive selling, and contract management to drive revenue growth for our logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate market potential and identify new business opportunities in ground and rail freight.
• Manage a portfolio of customers, develop existing accounts and acquire new ones.
• Conduct systematic client outreach through visits, calls, presentations, quotations and RFQ handling.
• Prepare and review contracts, ensuring validity and compliance.
• Increase logistics spend against set targets for each business field.
• Analyse client and competitor activities to inform sales strategy.
• Apply a consultative sales approach, cross‑selling the full CEVA suite of products and services.
• Allocate time between active selling (≈80 %) and administrative tasks such as quotation processing and account qualification (≈20 %).

Required profile

• High school diploma or university degree in economics, marketing, international commerce or logistics.
• At least 5 years experience in international freight, transportation or logistics.
• Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience with a record of closing new business.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and travel as required.
• Valid driver’s licence category B.
• Commercial acumen, customer orientation and teamwork mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using Sales Force automation tools.
