About the role

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring that all plant machinery and equipment operate reliably and safely. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, rapid fault diagnosis, and thorough documentation to minimise downtime and support continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance procedures on machinery and equipment to optimise performance and reduce unexpected failures.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, applying technical expertise and standard troubleshooting methods to restore equipment functionality.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, repairs performed, and parts used.
• Implement and follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate technical updates and maintenance status effectively with team members.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical repair and preventive maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics and blueprints.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
