Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will play a pivotal role in the planning, installation, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment within our plant. You will collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical calculations and support equipment selection for new purchases.
• Supervise construction, installation, and commissioning of buildings, structures, and plant equipment.
• Coordinate external contractors for repair and maintenance activities.
• Develop and issue technical instructions for mechanical and electrical services, repairs, and operations.
• Control material provision and distribution for assigned projects.
• Oversee production of structural and mechanical components required for new installations.
• Investigate and analyze causes of technological problems or equipment accidents.
• Maintain documentation of external organizations' working hours.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• Minimum two years of experience in plant engineering or a related specialty.
• Knowledge of methods for verifying technical requirements of repaired or new equipment.
• Understanding of basic plant processes and ability to perform elementary energy and mass balances.
• Familiarity with norms and requirements for building and facility design.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Bulgarian.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work effectively in a team.
