Key Account Manager – Oncology (Lung) – Plovdiv / Stara Zagora

About the role

AstraZeneca is looking for a Key Account Manager to join its Oncology team in Bulgaria, covering the South territory (Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Burgas, Panagyurishte and Haskovo). The role reports to the Disease Area Lead Bulgaria and focuses on building relationships with key customers and opinion leaders while promoting the lung cancer portfolio to meet budgeted sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Own the commercial performance of the territory: set up a territorial business plan with the Line Manager and build key account plans for priority accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and opinion leaders within ethical regulations
• Manage the territorial budget and ensure all activities follow ethical regulations and the Code of Conduct
• Organise local seminars and group meetings on therapy, treatment trends and products
• Provide timely feedback on clients and competitors to the Line Manager and attend team sessions
• Work closely with Commercial, Brand, Medical and other colleagues

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in medicine, pharmacy or a life science field
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Experience working with specialists; a GP-only background is not suited to the role
• Good command of English, written and spoken
