Merchandise Executive (6-Month Fixed-Term Contract)

About the role

Perkbox is looking for a Merchandise Executive to join its team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role supports the e-commerce trading activity, making sure products, promotions and categories are accurately managed and optimised so customers have a seamless experience. It works closely with Marketing, Commercial teams and external suppliers, using data and commercial insight to drive engagement and growth. Only Bulgarian-based candidates are considered.

Key responsibilities

• Manage product setup, launches and pre-orders, keeping product information and availability accurate
• Monitor supplier feeds, stock levels and category mapping, and create and optimise seasonal, promotional and trending categories
• Improve on-site search performance by analysing customer behaviour and trends
• Ensure merchandising activity meets quality and compliance standards
• Support the setup, maintenance and auditing of promotions and pricing, and manage promotional and product-led content across client portals
• Partner with Marketing to identify products, trends and category opportunities for campaigns
• Monitor product, category and search performance and use data, reporting tools and AI solutions to support trading decisions
• Build relationships with suppliers and work with Marketing and Commercial teams to keep product accurate

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in an e-commerce/marketplace, merchandising or online trading role
• Analytical mindset and ability to use data to make commercially sound decisions
• Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
• Collaborative, adaptable and proactive approach
• Experience using Claude AI or similar AI tools in a professional environment

Required skills

• Strong Microsoft Excel and broader Microsoft Office skills
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

What we offer

• Remote or hybrid work mode, with an office in Plovdiv
• Monthly salary of EUR 1,300 to EUR 1,400 gross (EUR 1,000 to EUR 1,085 net)
• Interview process: online interview with the Senior Talent Advisor, then final interviews with the Consumer Director and the Team Leader
