SAP Business Data Cloud Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an SAP Business Data Cloud Consultant to design, implement and optimise cloud‑based data solutions on SAP Business Data Cloud, including SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud. The role bridges data engineering, analytics and business consulting, helping clients turn data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data models and views in SAP Business Data Cloud / SAP Datasphere.
• Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW and non‑SAP sources.
• Build and optimise end‑to‑end data pipelines in the cloud.
• Develop analytical models, stories and dashboards using SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and governance.
• Translate reporting and analytics requirements into technical solutions for business users.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, functional consultants and architects.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimise data flows.
• Contribute to data strategy, best practices and cloud adoption initiatives.
• Support testing, documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud / SAP Datasphere.
• Strong knowledge of data‑modeling concepts (fact/dimension, star schema).
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Familiarity with SAP data sources such as S/4HANA, ECC, BW and CDS views.
• SQL knowledge, preferably SAP HANA SQL.
• Understanding of cloud data architectures and data integration/ transformation.
• Ability to analyse business requirements and deliver data solutions.
• Project‑based or consulting experience.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
