Accounting Associate Intern (Student) - Hybrid

About the role

IQVIA is looking for a Bulgarian student to join as an Accounting Associate Intern in Sofia, working under supervision to support the provision of accounting services to the business units. The internship is hybrid and office-based, so physical presence at the office is required. It is open to students in their final years of a Bulgarian university who hold a valid residence/work permit.

Key responsibilities

• Perform duties in line with IQVIA Finance SOPs, Sarbanes-Oxley controls and unit service level agreements where applicable.
• Enter data accurately and on time according to SOPs and SLAs.
• Contact colleagues to request missing information and update invalid data.
• File documents and obtain the required approvals for accounting purposes.
• Help other team members meet SLAs and targets.
• Handle printed documents, archiving and other clerical work.

Required profile

• Daily student in a Bulgarian university (senior years).
• Valid residence/work permit.
• Maximum 80 hours per month.
• Attention to detail, accurate and efficient data entry, ability to follow instructions and work within deadlines.

Required skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft finance modules is an advantage.

Remuneration is 800 BGN gross per month.
