Analyst, Commercial Reporting

About the role

The Commercial Reporting Analyst provides accurate and timely performance reporting and analysis for the Northern European Business Unit. Working within a high‑performing team, the analyst supports commercial decision‑making by delivering standard management reports, ad‑hoc analysis, and new report designs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute reports using BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and occasionally Microsoft Excel.
• Amend existing reports and build new ones by manipulating data with BI tools, Analysis for Office, Excel, or direct SQL connections to the data lake.
• Support month‑end closing, forecasting, budgeting, and weekly/daily commercial reporting processes.
• Produce ad‑hoc reports and initial analyses in response to stakeholder requests.
• Identify reliable data sources for reporting and ad‑hoc analysis.
• Extract, cleanse, and validate data from relevant systems for report production.
• Assist projects, reporting application changes, and system upgrades.
• Provide insights and proposals for process and reporting improvement, standardisation, and simplification.
• Give regular feedback on the performance and reliability of BPT systems to ensure data quality.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve reporting and data issues.
