CMO Specialist – Maternity Cover

About the role

Teva is seeking a CMO Specialist on a maternity‑cover basis to ensure the quality and compliance of bulk, finished and packaged pharmaceutical products across Europe. The role will act as the primary quality liaison for third‑party manufactured items, supporting both routine oversight and new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise product life‑cycle activities to guarantee pharmaceutical quality and GMP compliance.
• Coordinate and assess activities performed by expert teams, ensuring corrective actions are taken when needed.
• Serve as internal and external contact for all quality issues related to contract‑manufactured products.
• Maintain and control GMP‑relevant documentation for manufacturing, quality control and assurance.
• Collect and analyse key quality performance metrics and trends with CMOs.
• Lead change‑control projects for new product introductions and product modifications.
• Conduct QA due‑diligence and vendor qualification for contract manufacturers and local suppliers.
• Ensure master documents are authorized and supplier audits are performed according to schedule.
• Participate in internal audits and self‑inspections.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy, Sciences, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, validation, analytical control or regulatory compliance.
• Good interpersonal, communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and communicate complex issues clearly.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Familiarity with Track Wise® (advantage).
• Familiarity with Veeva (advantage).
