DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

About the role

Light & Wonder is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its Infinity DevOps team. You will design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure that powers the world’s leading online gaming platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design, creation, configuration and delivery of cloud infrastructure and environments using automation and security best practices.
• Implement CI/CD strategies that cover the full product development lifecycle and promote cross‑functional collaboration.
• Produce accurate documentation for Development, QA, Technical Operations, Product and Support teams.
• Develop and maintain tools that improve observability of cloud‑based environments to meet stability and uptime targets.
• Advocate for cloud‑native tools and methodologies across the organization.
• Contribute to a high‑performance enablement team in a fast‑paced setting.

Required profile

• Passionate, self‑motivated and driven professional who enjoys collaborating with diverse teams.
• Strong background in DevOps processes and tools with 2‑4 years of experience.
• Curious, eager to learn and share knowledge with colleagues.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and prioritize competing deadlines.

Required skills

• Programming: Python, Bash, Go.
• Linux system administration.
• Extensive experience with AWS.
• Configuration management: Ansible.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform.
• Version control: GitHub, BitBucket.
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI.
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, ArgoCD, Flux.
• Monitoring and analysis: Elasticsearch, Prometheus, Splunk, DataDog, Grafana, Kibana, Zabbix.
• Messaging platforms: Kafka, MSK, Kafka Connect.
• Networking and cloud‑based DNS services such as Cloudflare.
