Electro-Mechanical Hardware Engineer

About the role

EnduroSat is expanding its hardware team with an Electro‑Mechanical Engineer who bridges electronics and mechanics. The role involves designing, integrating, and validating flight‑ready electromechanical assemblies for satellite missions.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to PCB layout reviews, supporting placement and routing decisions for manufacturability and thermal performance.
• Design lightweight mechanical parts and enclosures, producing clear 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Perform hands‑on bring‑up and evaluation of boards and assemblies.
• Define and improve assembly and manufacturing processes; author build and test procedures.
• Drive design improvements through root‑cause analysis.
• Translate mission and system needs into technical requirements, maintaining traceability and verification plans.
• Collaborate with AIT, supply chain, and mission teams, communicating status, risks, and decisions.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in hardware and electro‑mechanical product development.
• Background in hardware layout, comfortable with PCB stack‑ups and DFM considerations.
• Mechanical design knowledge with ability to create 2D drawings; 3D CAD (SolidWorks) preferred.
• Experience working with technical requirements and verification processes.
