ETO Business Consultant – Engineer-to-Order

About the role

Join Danfoss as an ETO Business Consultant in the Product Configuration Department, shaping how complex, customer‑specific engineering solutions are managed. You will bridge business needs and technology, creating efficient, scalable Engineer‑to‑Order processes.

Key responsibilities

• Improve end‑to‑end ETO processes by analyzing current ways of working, identifying gaps, and designing practical solutions across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Customer Service.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements, process designs, and user stories, connecting business and technology teams.
• Support SAP and digital transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA implementations, system enhancements, integrations, testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with process owners and subject‑matter experts to establish consistent, scalable ways of working across teams and regions.
• Monitor process performance, support change and training activities, and help users adopt new solutions successfully.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience as a Business Consultant, Functional Consultant, Process Consultant, or a comparable role.
• Strong knowledge of Engineer‑to‑Order processes and how Engineering, Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics work together.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; experience with SAP SD, PP, MM, PS, or EWM is an advantage.
• Proven ability in business requirements gathering, process mapping, stakeholder facilitation, process improvement, and change adoption; fluent professional English.
