Field Services Engineer – Energy Storage (Bulgaria)

About the role

We are looking for a Field Services Engineer to support our energy storage projects across Bulgaria. The role involves on‑site inspection, maintenance and commissioning of large‑scale battery systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections, spot checks and preventive maintenance on PCS, BMS, EMS, battery clusters, transformers, switchgear and fire‑suppression systems according to O&M plans.
• Respond to fault alarms, conduct rapid fault localisation, root‑cause analysis and repair to minimise downtime.
• Support post‑installation commissioning, grid‑connection testing, trial operation and final acceptance of energy‑storage projects.
• Collect, organise and analyse operational, fault and maintenance data; produce regular O&M reports and recommend optimisation measures.
• Enforce electrical safety procedures, manage on‑site risk controls and work permits, and maintain clear communication with customers and partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operation and maintenance of large‑scale energy‑storage or power‑system projects.
• Fluent English; Bulgarian language skills are a plus.
• Strong coordination, communication and logical thinking abilities.
• Highly responsible, proactive and self‑driven.
