Full Stack Engineer: Golang & React

About the role

Perkbox is looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join its fast‑growing team in Bulgaria. You will own features from concept to production, working with Go on the backend and React/TypeScript on the frontend to deliver high‑impact employee wellbeing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive user‑facing features using React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Build reusable libraries and components for the product ecosystem.
• Design, implement and maintain high‑performance microservices in Go.
• Integrate frontend applications with gRPC and RESTful APIs.
• Optimize web applications for speed, scalability and real‑time data updates.
• Write unit and integration tests for both backend and frontend.
• Leverage AI coding tools to accelerate delivery and operate AI‑backed features.
• Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups and technical discussions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience building production‑ready services in Go.
• Strong expertise in React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Hands‑on experience with DynamoDB, Elasticsearch and MySQL, including schema design and query optimisation.
• Familiarity with gRPC, RESTful APIs and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS cloud‑native services and Git.
• Proven ability to design and implement AI‑powered workflows.
• Detail‑oriented approach to clean, high‑quality code.
