General Ledger Accountant

About the role

myPOS is looking for a General Ledger Accountant to support its fast‑growing fintech operations. You will handle bookkeeping for multiple international entities, ensure accurate daily accounting, and help maintain compliance with IFRS or GAAP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities for several group entities, including payments, bank reconciliations and invoicing.
• Prepare and post journal entries such as accruals, pre‑payments and adjustments.
• Handle intercompany transactions and reconcile related balances.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Support internal, external and statutory audit processes by providing required documentation.
• Assist with month‑end closing and the preparation of financial reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Required profile

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role, preferably within multinational companies.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
