Junior Financial Analyst

About the role

METRO Bulgaria, a self-service wholesale retailer, is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst in Sofia. The role covers controlling and budgeting work based on the company's merchandise management system, data warehouse and SAP-FI/CO.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse operations through standard and self-developed controlling reports and tools based on the Merchandise Management System, Data Warehouse and SAP-FI/CO
• Prepare, coordinate and control regular forecasts and annual budgets
• Support the steering and follow-up of various company projects
• Provide ad-hoc analyses on request to different management levels

Required profile

• University degree or final-year student in Economics and Business Administration, preferably with a focus on Finance and Accounting
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Previous experience is not obligatory

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
• Interest in developing in controlling and analysis with reporting tools such as SQL, SAP, MS Access and VBA for Excel
