Legal Specialist

About the role

IQVIA is seeking an experienced Legal Specialist to support the negotiation and administration of customer agreements within its global laboratory business. The role works with international stakeholders across Europe, America and Asia, partnering closely with legal, commercial, finance, and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, revise and negotiate a broad range of laboratory customer agreements, including Master Service Agreements, amendments, confidentiality agreements and other commercial contracts.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, including preparing signature‑ready copies and conducting follow‑up discussions with customers.
• Maintain contract tracking, reporting and accurate documentation using internal contract management systems.
• Serve as a point of contact and subject‑matter expert for assigned customers, collaborating with sales, finance, legal and other cross‑functional teams.
• Conduct legal research, contribute to process improvements and support global legal negotiation teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, negotiation or commercial legal operations.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements, preferably within life sciences, healthcare, laboratory or CRO environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, global environment.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of contract law principles and commercial contracting practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
