Paralegal – Corporate Governance & Compliance

About the role

IXM, a leading global commodity trading firm, is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support its legal function from Sofia. You will be the central hub for corporate governance, KYC, and legal documentation across the Group’s worldwide operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day administration of legal entities, including incorporations, board resolutions, director appointments and statutory record‑keeping.
• Coordinate KYC, beneficial‑ownership, sanctions and anti‑bribery due‑diligence requests, maintaining the Group’s compliance database.
• Review, negotiate and process standard legal documents such as confidentiality agreements, engagement letters and account‑opening paperwork.
• Oversee global document execution, e‑signatures, certifications, notarizations and collection of corporate documents required for financing and commercial activities.
• Administer legal and corporate repositories (SharePoint, OneDrive, iDeals) and drive process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or certification in a legal/paralegal discipline.
• 5+ years of paralegal experience in an international company or law firm.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; additional European language is a plus.
• High level of confidentiality, attention to detail and organizational ability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using e‑signature platforms and corporate database tools.
• Familiarity with SharePoint, OneDrive or iDeals document repositories.
• Ability to understand legal billing structures and pricing dynamics.
