Operations Planner

About the role

ABB is looking for an Operations Planner in Stryama, reporting to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager. The role ensures reliable production through effective material planning, supplier coordination and inventory optimisation, aligning demand and supply to maintain service levels, reduce working capital and minimise shortages and excess stock. It contributes to the Electrification Smart Power Business Area and is an onsite position.

Key responsibilities

• Execute MRP, release purchase orders and expedite critical materials to support production schedules
• Optimise inventory and reduce excess and obsolete stock through root cause analysis and KPI monitoring (on-time delivery, turnover, days on hand, supplier performance)
• Manage supplier relationships and replenishment processes, resolve urgent supply issues and follow up on invoices and supplier payments
• Work with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering and Warehouse teams to ensure efficient operations and delivery continuity
• Run daily material reviews, mitigate risks proactively and drive working capital improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Up to 2 years of experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Fluent English communication
• Passion for learning, innovation and continuous improvement

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of material planning modules in ERP systems
• Advanced Excel skills
