Product Expert – Training & Support

About the role

The Product Expert will ensure the highest level of product knowledge across business partners and end‑customers. You will design, deliver and coordinate comprehensive training programmes for STIHL products, accessories and digital solutions, both on‑site and online.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical product training (on‑site, online, trade fairs).
• Create and maintain training materials in the local language, including STIHL Academy content.
• Manage the demonstration product fleet, keeping it up‑to‑date with new market offerings.
• Participate in product testing commissioned by headquarters.
• Collaborate with market development, business development, marketing, product management and technical teams to identify training needs and report to the Regional Training Manager.
• Organise local training events and support promotional activities.
• Prepare reports, analyse training outcomes and ensure data accuracy in CRM.
• Recommend and implement new training formats, tools and methods.
• Provide telephone/hotline support for dealers and assist the Service team with complaint handling.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, management, engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing and delivering training programmes.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical devices and ability to translate complex concepts into clear content.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.
