Proposals Development Associate

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. As a Proposals Development Associate, you will develop client proposals that contribute to the success of clinical trial projects and help advance new medicines and treatments. The role suits candidates at all levels.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of client proposals, including cost estimates, timelines and scope of work documents.
• Work with clinical operations, project management and finance teams to gather information and ensure proposals are accurate and complete.
• Research and analyse client requirements, the competitive landscape and market trends to inform proposal strategy.
• Manage proposal workflows, track proposal status, coordinate review cycles and follow internal processes and timelines.
• Maintain proposal templates, databases and other tools used for proposal development.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business administration or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in proposal development, clinical research or related roles in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO industry.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, able to handle several tasks and deadlines at once.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5% of the time.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with proposal management software or CRM systems is a plus.
