RN OR Circulator – Per Diem

About the role

The RN OR Circulator provides comprehensive nursing care in an Ambulatory Surgical Center. Working alongside the surgical team, the circulator ensures patient safety before, during, and after procedures while acting as a liaison between the operating room staff and the rest of the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scrub functions, selecting and handling instruments and supplies for each procedure.
• Execute circulating duties, monitoring, recording, and communicating patient condition throughout the surgical episode.
• Assist the operating physician with tasks such as hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• CPR and ACLS certification.
• Minimum one year of experience in an operating room; ability to scrub and circulate preferred.
